Last July I spent 3 weeks traveling with a theatre group from Columbia University, filming the journey, the productions and the audiences. We started in Nairobi, Kenya and then traveled to Johannesburg and Cape Town in South Africa. There were 17 performances in total, each one delivered to a different audience; from the slums of Kibera, Rhode Scholars in Cape Town and a rehabilitation centre for adolescents were just a few from the trip.
The play was directed by Gregory Mosher.
