Turkana Landscapes – Northern Kenya

Swahili Proverb: “Macho hayana pazia” – Eyes have no screens, they see all that is within view. 

In June I made a trip up to Turkana in northern Kenya. Turkana is a difficult area to get to unless one is lucky enough to fly, in this case I was. The landscape throughout the Suguta Valley is undeniably beautiful and diverse. In the last few years oil has been discovered in the Turkana region, which could in the very near future, change the face of the beautiful landscapes below.
